If you could write a book about anything, what would it be about?
I've got this 'political historical fictional drama' idea that i'd love to get on paper one of these days. What if the record of peaceful transitions of power in the US were interrupted? What if a hotly contested election actually devolved into conflict? What if a rogue General actually took his troops out of the barracks in the name of God & Country? The idea springs from our recent history mixed with the difficult transitions that happen all the time in Latin America. The results can be tragic in places like Chile, Argentina and Venezeula with their fractious politics. As politics in the US grows more decisive who says it couldn't happen here?
That. Or a children's book about an odd friendship between a turtle and an elephant.
Are there any snacks, food or candy that are no longer made that you desperately miss?
hmmmm. nope. but i haven't had a Twizzler in a while. I like Twizzlers. But out here it's all about Red Vines. Can anyone explain this? Because in my humble opinion Twizzlers > Red Vines.
What magazines do you subscribe to, and why? the economist... because i like the challenge. bring it on, Lexington! and esquire b/c i gots to be hip ... oh and San Francisco, which is now horrible. just horrible.... and the mrs. gets simple which confuses me b/c if it was so simple did it really need an article to explain?... and methinks there are a few others because a very nice boy came to the door with a sob story...
yes. lots. too many. JR because of Dallas. Rainman thanks to Dustin Hoffman. JAR JAR due to a middle initial and a bad prequel. Jeffy thanks to a terrible terrible misunderstanding. And Gump for reasons that shall not be discussed here in semi-private Voxlandia.
